The Tena Protective underwear was tried by my elderly relative. He has been using a popular brand of protective underwear so he was the perfect person to compare this relatively new brand to what he normally buys. He has a 36 inch waist, so the medium size fit him perfectly (the package claims the underwear will fit waist sizes 34 inches to 44 inches). The fit is a stretchy, form-fitting design and he said the material is highly absorbent and comfortable. He also claimed that the underwear was more breathable than the current brand he has been using. The packaging states that the material is patented ConfioAir which allows for 100% breathability. I particularly like that this underwear does not in any way have the appearance of a diaper and that factor must surely make an adult suffering with incontinence more confident and secure.

Tena Proskin Underwear for Men 

Material: is a lightweight almost papery material on the outside. Inside, the absorbent material is very soft against skin. Thin enough to not show under pants. The material does not shred or fall apart during wearing. The fabric is strong enough to not tear.

Weight: These look and feel lightweight in wearing. Protection: Perfect for a small to medium amount of urine. Very absorbent so the wearer does not feel wet.

Fit: The flexible fit is very comfortable and easy to feel confident while wearing. The leg gathering is comfortable for larger legs. Neighbor said that when her dad used Tena Proskin Underwear (her dad had very very slender legs) and they found they needed two pads to avoid leaking. Her dad appreciated that the padding goes all the way up both the front and the back. 

Wearing: There is a definite front and back. The back is marked with a blue thread and blends into the grey-ish color fabric. Feel cool when wearing; they do not make the wearer feel sweaty.

Removal: Easy to pull on and pull off without a mess. The padding absorbs the urine. The sides can be cut easily for removal if needed.

There are no leak guards, but, between the legs, there is plenty of absorbent material, snug fit, and flexibility to feel secure. They do not look like super thick padding (like an adult diaper) while wearing (see pic).

Secure protection & fit, not obvious

So perfect. Superior quality. Dependable to assist during moments of urine flow that can occur. No more embarrassing moments. Who wants to live in discomfort such as a problem of uncontrollable incontinence? These are easy to put on and remove. The moisture is pulled away from the skin and holds it so there is no leakage. 
These are great. Do a fantastic job. No more embarrassment. Tena wins. Their products vary to assist your personal needs. Very pleased to discover this product.

Tena Undergarments

I got these for a man that has worn protective underwear for several years. He says he has tried every brand and finally settled on just one. He was willing to give these a try though. 

After a few days, he gave them a thumbs up. 

First of all, there is no embarrassing leakage. 
He wears them to church and social events when he may not have access to a bathroom quickly. 

They are a neutral gray color, not a child's diaper at all. 

There is a wide very stretchy waist band that is several inches wide. It stretches to fit, but keeps it snug under close. 

Slim. Not bulky. Doesn't make any rustling sounds when he walks 

Wetness doesn't cause it to shed little pieces from the inside of the underwear. 

He feels like he can trust these and wear them comfortably.

They do the job!

I WORE A PAIR OF TENA PROSKIN MAXIMUM ABSORBENCY UNDERWEAR LARGE TO SEE IF THEY WERE AS GOOD AS OTHER TENA PRODUCTS. THEY WERE COMFORTABLE AND I DIDN'T SWEAT. I HAVE A MODERATE LEAKAGE BUT I HAVE IBS AND SOMETIMES WEAR UNDERWEAR FOR THAT PURPOSE. WITH CONFIO AIR THEY WERE 100% BREATHABLE. I REALLY COULDN'T TELL I HAD THEM ON AND I WAS CONFIDENT THAT I WAS PROTECTED. WITH THE TEAR AWAY SEAMS IT MAKES THEM EASY TO REMOVE NO MATTER WHAT THEY HOLD. THE FIT WAS GOOD WITH ELASTIC IN THE LEGS THAT DIDN'T BIND. I ALWAYS HAVE DIAPERS ON HAND FOR SO MANY REASONS AND TENA IS ALWAYS ONE OF THEM.

COMFORTABLE UNDERWEAR

The Tena Proskin Maximum Absorbancy Underwear for men is comfortable and not bulky. Id tried another kind of incontinence underwear and the fit wasn`t great so these are a great improvement. It has additional blue stitching that goes at the back that im sure prevented "sagging" Its very comfortable to wear and i felt very dry with its maximum absorbency. They do cost a bit more than the generic ones im used to but they really work better.

Absorbent and strong

My very elderly dad was NOT interested in talking about needing this at times. But, I chose it when offered a chance to review it! And now he has something that can really help him, and it's giving him more confidence. He was turning down "going running" with me (errands in the car). Why? Because he was too worried about incontinence. Now, he's going running a lot more. We were both surprised at the dark gray color of the disposible underwear, and pleased with it. It makes it seem more like regular underwear. The gray just looks good, especially since he usually wears colored underwear. It gives some dignity, you know?

Gray Max Underwear for Men

These incontinence underwear work really well for a man. The absorbancy is very good. These don't leak and keep lfluids inside the underwear itself within the lining. These seem to be lightweight and very comfortable. The material that these are made from feel very soft and allow you to move freely without the diaper feeling. These incontinence underwear also allow your skin to breathe. These underwear serves their purpose.

Men's incontinence underwear

I have ordered and tested this underwear with great expectations but, have been somewhat let down. 

First thing, I put in an order for 80 but, I only received 20. Not a big deal but something that created something else to be dealt with. 

Secondly, the sizing on these seems to be overstated. I am a 40” waist. On the packaging it says Medium is made to handle waists from 34” to 44”. So, I ordered the Medium size. After receiving them and putting them on, I found they run SMALL. I should have ordered the next size up. If I was a 44” waist, these would be like putting on a girdle. 

They are a lot nicer to wear than the generic diaper type. These go on and fit like normal underwear. I wore them for a while and they do seem to do the job for small leaks. I didn't have any large events to judge them by. Slipping them on and off while doing normal toiletry functions is a breeze and causes no problems. They wear like thick underwear and do not give any visual indications other than normal clothing. Overall I would say they do what is expected for small secretions.

I would have given them 5 stars but because they run small and the order was shorted I deducted one star.

Size specs are over stated.

What I like most about these, in addition to the being disposable, is the ability to pull them up rather than having fastening tabs. They are still easily tearable for removing after they have been used. The gray color helps them blend into clothing better than white also.

The product description on this package is different than the product inside the package. It says there is blue waistband stitching to mark front from back; There is none. It says there are tear away sides: there aren't any. The unit is a solid one piece. Trying to tear either side just rips the material to shreds. Unacceptable and unusable.
